HONOURS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (BSC.N) SCHOLARSHIPS

Canadore College’s brand new Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc.N) degree trains students in the skills, knowledge and leadership necessary to succeed in this relevant career field. Education is student-centred and interprofessional, and professors work with community partners to provide students with diverse, real-world experiences. Clinical practice focuses on mental health, acute care, home care, public health, gerontology and maternal and child health. Graduates are eligible to write the nurse registration examination, and, upon successful completion, can apply for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario to begin their professional practice in a variety of clinical settings.

The Canadore Foundation is currently seeking donations to help support four levels of Entrance and Retention awards for the new Honours BSc.N program, beginning in fall 2022. These awards, ranging in value from $500 to $2,500 per year, will be open to students entering their first, second, third and fourth years of the program.
