Unrestricted Gifts - Where they are needed the most

The Foundation’s new Umbrella Fund has been created to direct donors’ annual unrestricted gifts to where they will have the most impact.

These general purpose funds will be used for students’ more acute, short-term needs such as:

  • food

  • educational supplies, and

  • accommodations-related expenses;

  • and to help ensure the Foundation has the operational capacity to meet its fundraising objectives in supporting students, programs and services at Canadore.

To kickstart our new Umbrella Fund and to offer all new donors an opportunity to DOUBLE THEIR IMPACT, the Canadore Alumni have made a significant donation and will match all new gifts to the Fund, to a maximum of $200,000.

Make a small monthly or bi-weekly commitment to the Fund. Or opt for a larger lump sum gift each year. The choice is yours. Annual donation receipts will be provided for gifts of $20 or greater.”
